Fewax

The ear canal is a 3cm tunnel ending at the eardrum. The sides of the tunnel are covered with skin and have small glands which produce wax. The wax is important to waterproof and protect the skin of the tunnel. Usually, ears are self-cleaning and the excess wax works itself out. Occasionally, a large build-up of wax can cause some temporary symptoms such as dulled hearing or when fitting a hearing aid.

Fewax Ear Wax Drops is an solution used for:

  • Remove excessive earwax.

Direction for use:

For adults and children over 12 years of age:

  1. Lay your patient on side with affected ear up.
  2. Instill 5-10 drops of fewax ear drops into the ear canal.
  3. Insert cotton plug into the meatus and allow to remain for about 15-30 minutes.
  4. Any wax remaining after treatment may be removed by gently flushing the ear with warm water, using a soft rubber syringe, avoiding excess pressure.

 

Storage:

Store between (15-25)˚C, Protect from sunlight and humidity.
